Privacy policy

Short version: we keep your email and the choices you make on this page so we can hold your place in line and tell you when BEHYND launches. We don't sell it, and this site has no ad trackers.

What we collect

• Your email address.
• What you picked: whether BEHYND is for you or your kid, and which Buddy cover. We don't ask for anything about the child.
• Who referred you (if you used a friend's link) and how many friends you've referred.
• The campaign tag on the link you arrived from, if it had one (for example "tiktok"), so we know which ads work.
• When you signed up, whether you confirmed your email, and whether you made a $1 reservation.

What we don't collect

No names, phone numbers, home addresses or location. No cookies, no ad pixels and no analytics trackers. Your browser remembers the referral code from the link you used so your friend gets credit when you sign up.

Payments

$1 reservations are handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. Stripe tells us the email you used and that the payment went through.

Who handles your data for us

• Cloudflare hosts this site and its database.
• Resend sends our emails.
• Stripe processes $1 reservations.

Each one only gets what it needs to do that job.

How we use it

To confirm your spot, send waitlist emails (your confirmation, your welcome email and "you moved up" updates), tell you when the Kickstarter goes live, and deliver referral rewards and reservations.

Your choices

Every waitlist email has a link to stop them. To see or delete what we hold about you, email us and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

Kids

The waitlist is for adults and parents. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

Until the waitlist and launch are over, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
